"Glory/Truth"

One of the definitions of "glory" is "a halo". One of the definitions of "halo" is "circled lights". And that is the Glory of God : His ability to discern the truth about any given situation, by surrounding it by lights so bright that a lie can't find a place to hide. God's Word is so mysterious that it has to be closely studied in order to find the meaning in it that makes perfect sense, and is understandable to the mind of "the common man"....in this case, a man or woman who is educated well enough to read a book and use a dictionary. Is understanding God not worth the effort it takes to research the true meaning of words that seem to stand out in the text? Key words? Words that take us onto paths we never considered before, and lead us to an understanding of God that is literally unheard of in today's world. Though many seem to find the Word "outdated" and therefore not worth considering when making important decisions, the Truth is that the Word applies to any generation that fits the bill, the descriptions of an evil nation, and of a people who never know when to say, "Enough. I have enough money to last me for ten lifetimes, no matter how bad the economy gets." We have many billionaires in this country, and I venture to say, many "trillionaires" as well, none of whom is satisfied with what they have, but are driven always to acquire more and more, regardless of how it's achieved, of who they have to destroy in order to reach their goals. Think for a few moments of how many "Uuber" rich there are, and then think of what they had to do, or agree to have done, in order to stand where they are today. How much of life have they destroyed, in order to be one of the rich and famous of the world? How much have the merely mediocre destroyed, following behind the Uuber rich?
